How to Start Your Weekend with High-Vibe Goddess Energy

For those of us who aren’t morning people, the only energy we may wake up with is sleepy-sloth energy or “can I get coffee in an IV?” energy. But what if you could start your next weekend or next day off with some high-vibing goddess energy? Doesn’t that sound AH-mazing

The cool thing about this practice is that you can really dive into it on a weekend, and you might even find that a few of these habits could even translate into a busy work week–an abbreviated version, of course. Here are a few things you can do to get that high-vibe energy to start your day off right.

Practice gratitude.

Start the day with a thought of what you’re thankful for. Even if that’s the snooze on your alarm or your upcoming cup of coffee. This can help you center yourself in an attitude of gratitude before you even get out of bed.

Don’t neglect the skin you’re in.

Skincare is such an important part of our daily lives, and yet, it’s easy to neglect it. Slather on some sunscreen and moisturizer, and go into this day like a boss.

Savor your morning cuppa.

Whether you love coffee, tea, juice, or lemon water, really take the time to just sit and savor your beverage of choice. Breathe, sip, and appreciate. For the length of a single drink, do nothing but be.

Be inspired.

Take the time to listen to a favorite song, a chapter of your latest inspirational audiobook, or simply soak in the sounds of nature in your area while you’re getting ready for the day. Whether that’s car horns and crowds of people or birds tweeting their good morning in more than 280 characters, just enjoy being right where you are.

Get ready with intention.

You know how everyone says that you should dress for the job you want, not the job you have? Maybe you should dress for the life you want. Unless you have a corporate job and the life you want to live is in a nudist colony. But you get the idea.

Take the time to consider your vibe. If you wear something you love, you’ll feel better about yourself. So, wear the flattering lingerie or your favorite boxer briefs. Pick out something you know suits you. Go ahead and admire yourself, and then go out and GET IT.
